Energy Conversion Devices and Enfinity Announce Plans to Co-Develop Rooftop Solar Projects In Ontario, Canada

Rochester Hills, Mich., and Sacramento, Calif., November 9, 2009 – Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (ECD) (NASDAQ: ENER) and Enfinity Corporation today announced plans to collaborate on the development of a portfolio of rooftop solar installations in Ontario, Canada. ECD and Enfinity will partner to co-develop a series of rooftop solar projects throughout Ontario, Canada under the province’s new feed-in-tariff program. The companies expect to complete construction of approximately 10MW of projects during 2010.

Enfinity to develop China’s first PV power station

Enfinity, an international renewable energy project developer with US headquarters in Sacramento, has been selected by the Chinese government to build China’s first photovoltaic (PV) power station. The bid was awarded by the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). The 10 MW project, located in Dunhuang City and capable of producing 16.37 million kWh annually, will also be the largest power station of any kind built in China to date.

Lidl builds with Enfinity and SolarMarkt AG solar plants on rooftops throughout Europe.

The company Lidl Stiftung, based in Neckarsulm/Germany, has entered into a framework agreement with Enfinity and with SolarMarkt AG from Freiburg, Germany. The agreement relates to the installation and maintenance of solar systems on logistics centres of Lidl in Europe. The general project will be realised through a joint venture of the companies SolarMarkt and Enfinity, based in Frankfurt am Main.

Enfinity is consolidating its international position with a 50 million Euro investment by investment firm Waterland.

Waregem, Belgium – February 2009. Enfinity Management, an international renewable energy project developer has been granted a significant 50 million Euro capital increase by investment firm Waterland. This investment will allow Enfinity to accelerate its growth in the 12 countries (in Europe, the US and Asia) in which it is already present, and also to develop its position in new countries.

Interbanca Finances Enfinity For A New Photovoltaic Park in Foggia/Italy

Ghent, Belgium – 22 August 2008. Through their own subsidiary Enfinity 4 Srl, Enfinity Management BVBA has concluded the financing contract realizing “project finance” for a new photovoltaic park in the province of Foggia in Italy. The project envisages the realization of 6 photovoltaic tracking plants with a maximum power of 4.3 MW.

Yingli Green Energy Announces 10MW Sales Contract with Enfinity

BAODING, China, July 03, 2008 – Yingli Green Energy, one of the world's leading vertically integrated photovoltaic product manufacturers, today announced that it has entered into a sales contract with Enfinity Management bvba, a global renewable energy project developer located in Ghent, Belgium. Under the terms of the agreement, Yingli Green Energy is expected to supply 10 MW of PV modules to Enfinity from July 2008 to December 2008.

Enfinity Signs 25 MW Solar Power Plant Framework Agreement with SunPower

Enfinity installs first solar installation on a company rooftop in the region of Bruges/Belgium

Enfinity has installed a PV solar installation on the rooftop of Merckx, a manufacturer of industrial glue.
Enfinity hires the roof and Merckx can immediately buy all energy produced on the roof so as to avoid transmission and distribution costs.
